OPERA d'ARTE for cultural tourism

FOR WHOEVER…

_is on a business trip but also wants some quality time for themselves.
_is traveling alone, with the family or a group of friends but appreciates professional organization.
_belongs to tour and social clubs (corporate, cultural, continuing education) and wants to take advantage of Milanese cultural life, utilizing a qualified, efficient service.

SOME OF OUR PROPOSALS:

Great exhibitions

From Palazzo Reale to the Mazzotta Foundation, or in Turin, Cremona, Mantua: our art historians are ready to accompany you to the major art shows being held in northern Italy.

City Sightseeing

For those who wish to optimize the time at their disposal, we propose a tour (for small groups, in a private minibus) that will show you the sights, making brief stops at those of major interest: Castello Sforzesco, Duomo, S. Ambrogio, The Last Supper.
Duration: 3 hours

All-in-a-night

Has work kept you busy all day at a trade fair, a company or a convention?
If your only time to see the city is in the evening, we take advantage of the newly illuminated historical center to offer you an itinerary showing you Milan’s most important sights “in a new light”.
The main stops along the way will be the Castello Sforzesco, with lighting designed by Duilio Parrariello, Piazza Cadorna, whose urban fixtures were designed by Gae Aulenti and which features the famous Needle by Claes Oldenberg, the Navigli (canals) area with the Basilicas Park and S. Lorenzo Maggiore and finally Piazza della Scala and the Duomo.

All-in-a-night is a 2-hour itinerary. Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and accompany you on the tour.

The Masterpieces

All the itineraries last 2 hours. Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and accompany you to the museum or monument selected for your tour.

The art of … shopping

To combine business with pleasure and take home gifts for family and friends (as well as yourself!) we propose different shopping itineraries for all tastes and all pockets.

_Flea market aficionados can come with us on Saturday to the Darsena, to learn the history of the canals, visit the medieval church of S. Cristoforo and browse through the picturesque outdoor market.

N.B.: This tour can be taken on Saturdays and the last Sunday of each month.

_If designer labels are what you seek you can opt for a stroll through the Fashion Quadrangle, which includes not only the boutiques in Via della Spiga and Via Montenapoleone but also some of Milan’s top museums, housed in nineteenth century patrician homes (Poldi Pezzoli Museum, the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, the Museum of Milan).

N.B.: this tour can be taken Tuesday through Saturday.

_Finally, whoever would like a wealth to choose from will be accompanied to Corso Buenos Aires, a long thoroughfare with a thousand shops, where boutiques abut factory outlets. But first a visit to splendid Villa Reale, a neoclassical masterpiece designed by Pollack that houses the Gallery of Modern Art alongside the Pavilion of Contemporary Art (PAC).

N.B.: this tour can be taken Tuesday through Saturday.

The art-plus-shopping tours last 2 hours. Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and accompany you on the tour.
